Exhibition Night – “The Colour Blue” – Mar 25

Entries for this theme will depict images that fall under the following description.

This theme is very much anything goes so long as your images have one thing in common- The Colour BLUE needs to be very obvious. A Blue Dress, a Blue Car, a Blue Sky, you catch the idea, right? 
Do continue to be creative with the subject, location etc but also have some fun as well.  

The colour blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents the meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, and intelligence.

Take it onboard and let’s see what you come up with…

Rules

• Photos must be your work
• New 1-Year Rule applies
• Photos must have the colour blue represented
• Maximum of Two Images per Member.
• All Images should be framed with Passe-partouts /Matts of either colour Black or White.

Voting

• Members of the public will be asked to vote on their favourite three images to accolade the top five images and respective photographers
• Images submitted will earn 1 Order of Merit point each.
• Public Votes for each image will be added together for the Annual Order of Merit for each photographer.
• New Placing system now in effect (1st – 5th places) that will earn additional points (25,20,15,10.5) accordingly.

Deadline for Entries

• The deadline for primary entry title submissions is Tuesday 11th March 2025.
• Additional calls (Subject to space availability) for secondary entry titles can be sent in by Tuesday 18th of March 2025.

Frame Change Thursday

• Frame Changing will take place on Thursday 27th March between 10:00 -12:30 

Exhibition Night

• Gallery Doors open at 19:00 on Friday 28th March 2025
