This month’s Challenge was themed “Abandoned”, and we asked Ron Stevens to address judging duties. It was great to see 46 entries for this challenge!!
Ron Stevens has developed and taught beginning through advanced levels of photography and digital imaging since 1985 at Miami University. He has conducted numerous travel photography workshops and seminars throughout the United States and internationally, working with both beginners and advanced photographers.
He is a passionate environmentalist and strives to reflect the beauty of the natural world in a unique way. Stevens has photographed commercial projects for many advertising campaigns. His images are in private collections across the country, and he has been the featured speaker and judge of numerous photographic exhibits and competitions.
Ron has developed image communication training for various companies such as Monarch Marking Systems, Pitney Bowes, Jarco Rubber, and others. His focus at present is developing workshops, using photography as a tool to create communication and understanding between individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, experiences, and beliefs.
Our Second Exhibition of 2026 will be “Street Photography” on the 27th of March 2026 and we look forward to seeing you there.
