Our inaugural exhibition for 2026 was themed “Cafés & Coffee”. A common factor from both standpoints, as a location to drink coffee, especially here in Portugal and also coffee as an element itself. It seems however that even due to the abundance of places to photograph, the theme didn’t quite reseonate with all of our members and we only had 30 entries.
Nevertheless, with 30 prints exhibited, we feel that quality outweighs quantity and we’ll let you be the judge of that for yourself from the images on display.
Our audience was again healthy even due to extended spell of inclement weather and it was great to see some new faces present. Approximately 50 people visited the exhibition opening night and we greatly value the support for the event.
The first challenge of 2026 is up next, and the theme is “Abandonned”.
New for this year, the visitors on opening night now have the task of selecting their favourite “FIVE” images whereas in the past, only THREE were required. As is traditional for print exhibitions, the public votes were counted from (46) voting slips that produced the following results:
