Christina is a retired English lady who has lived in Portugal for over 20yrs. She won her first photography competition aged 8yrs using an Agfa Silette camera and has continued to develop and indulge her interest ever since. Her preferences are for landscapes, waterscapes, and black and white photography.
She uses a Canon 5D Mark 11 full-frame DLSR and a mirrorless Canon EOS M50 with little digital manipulation, adjusting contrast and saturation in the RAW file, keeping things as simple as possible in order to preserve the integrity of the photograph. Her philosophy is to try to get it right in the camera. Christina likes to photograph things that evoke an emotional response, something that makes her heart beat faster, to ‘capture the moment’ and replicate it as closely to the way she saw and felt it at the time in the real world.
