Daryl was born in the UK. He has been living in the Algarve since 1987 and now resides in “the Golden Triangle” with his family. He is a full-time international photographer, having covered assignments in the USA and across Europe. He specializes in real estate, events, weddings and portraits.
With a strong background in IT and software development, Daryl is at ease explaining the technical side of photography, which is why he devotes as much time as he can to the group. As part of his role as APG President, he often coordinates and oversees workshops where members can consult on a whole range of troublesome areas and obtain individual hands-on experience.
When he doesn’t have a camera in his hands, he’ll have a golf club. An avid golfer, he aims to maintain his single-figure handicap which is currently seven.
