See the Beauty in Less: Enter the “Minimalist” Photography Exhibition
In a world overflowing with noise and clutter, minimalism invites us to pause, breathe, and find meaning in simplicity. It’s not about what you see—it’s about what you choose to show. One line. One shape. One moment. And endless depth.
This is your invitation to explore the power of less. Whether it’s a lone tree against a vast sky, a shadow dancing on a wall, or a quiet detail hidden in plain sight, minimalism challenges us to strip away distraction and reveal pure visual poetry.
You don’t need a studio or exotic scenery. Just your eye, your perspective, and the courage to share your unique vision. Show us the elegance of restraint, the emotion of empty space, the quiet voice that speaks volumes.
Submit your photos for this exhibition and let the public decide how “loud” your “less” really is.
Minimal doesn’t mean small—it means essential. Let your image say more by showing less. Take it onboard and let’s see what you come up with…
Rules
- Photos must be your work
- New 1-Year Rule applies (this means taken anytime in 2024 to date).
- Photos must have the colour blue represented
- Maximum of Two Images per Member.
- All Images should be framed with Passe-partouts /Matts of either colour Black or White.
Voting
- Members of the public will be asked to vote on their favourite three images to accolade the top five images and respective photographers
- Images submitted will earn 1 Order of Merit point each.
- Public Votes for each image will be added together for the Annual Order of Merit for each photographer.
- New Placing system now in effect (1st – 5th places) that will earn additional points (25,20,15,10.5) accordingly.
Deadline for Entries
- The deadline for titles submissions is Friday 19th of September 2025.
- Please complete the form when you receive the e-mail.
Frame Change Thursday
- Frame Changing will take place on Thursday 25th of September between 10:00 -12:30
Exhibition Night
- Gallery Doors open at 19:00 on Friday 26th of September 2025

We welcome the general public to come along and support the event where you can vote for your favourite three entries and enjoy some interesting discussions with ambient music, a bar and free admission and the infamous “Finger Food Table” will also be available.
