Exhibition “Street Photography” – Mar 2026

This exhibition invites participants to capture the essence of everyday life in public spaces through “street photography”. The goal is to document authentic, unscripted moments that reveal human interaction, culture, and the atmosphere of urban or public environments.

Objective
Participants should create images that showcase real-life moments, emotions, or scenes unfolding in streets or public places, highlighting the beauty and complexity of street activity. Possible interpretations could include: Everyday moments and candid portraits; Urban life and city movement; Street vendors, performers, and markets; Commuters and public transport scenes; Street architecture interacting with people; Light, shadows, and reflections in urban settings; Humor or unexpected moments in public spaces and we encourage creative and personal interpretations too.

Rules

• Photos must be your work
• 1-year Rule Applies (images taken since January 2025)
• Maximum of Two Images per Member.
• All Images must be framed with Passe-partouts/mat of either Black or White (preferably white).

Voting

• Members of the public will be asked to vote on their favourite three images to select the top five images and respective photographers
• Images submitted will earn 5 Order of Merit point each.
• Public Votes for each image will be added together for the Annual Order of Merit for each photographer.
• New Placing system now in effect (1st – 5th places) that will earn additional points (25,20,15,10.5) accordingly.

Deadline for Entries

• The deadline for title submissions is Friday, 20th of March 2026.
• Please complete the form when you receive the e-mail.

Frame Change Thursday

• Frame Changing will take place on Thursday 26th of March, between 10:00 -12:30
• Please ensure your digital images are delivered before frame change.

Exhibition Night

• Gallery Doors open at 19:00 on Friday, 27th of March 2026
