Liquid – July 2026

The Fourth print Exhibition took place on the last Friday of July with the theme “Liquid“.

It flows without losing its identity. It adapts to every surface, finds paths around obstacles, and exists in countless forms—essential, beautiful, industrial, nourishing, hazardous, celebratory, and transformative. It can be found in nature and in our homes, in science and medicine, in food and drink, in art, and in everyday life. It is both commonplace and extraordinary.

This exhibition invited members to explore the many interpretations of LIQUID. Some images celebrate its elegance through movement, colour, and reflection. Others examine its texture, purpose, or relationship with people and the environment. From a single droplet to a sweeping landscape, from the familiar to the unexpected, each photograph offers a unique perspective on a subject that is constantly changing.

Photography has a remarkable ability to suspend what is inherently fluid. A splash is frozen in time. A ripple becomes a pattern. A pour, a reflection, or a moment of transformation is preserved forever. In doing so, the camera reveals details that often escape the naked eye, inviting us to see the ordinary with fresh curiosity.

As you explore the exhibition, consider not only what is depicted, but how liquid behaves, what it represents, and the stories it tells. Whether it symbolises life, celebration, industry, emotion, creativity, or change, every image reminds us that some of the most compelling subjects are those that refuse to remain still.

Once again, visitors on opening night had the task of selecting their favourite “FIVE” images. As is traditional for print exhibitions, the public votes were counted from (31) voting slips that produced the following results:

• 1st Place: with 21 Votes

Even though the group as a break for the month of August, folks will still be eager to submit images for the Fourth challenge of 2026, themed “Waves“.
