Low Light – October 2025

This month’s Challenge was themed “Low Light”. A challenging theme for some and an opportunity for others to show how they can really use their equipment.

Paul Kulessa was once again invited to Guest Judge for this theme. It’s his fourth time taking on this task, and we appreciate his feedback.

Paul considers himself a Photographic Artist, driven by a passion for the art form rather than a desire to make it a profession.

Over the years, Paul has explored diverse subjects, including people, vacation, and nature photography, with a particular affinity for capturing bugs and flowers. Since the turn of the millennium, Paul has developed an interest in fashion and beauty photography, primarily shooting models in studio and location settings to showcase their unique beauty and make them look their best.

His online presence serves as a platform to share his artistic expression.

Well done to all who took part, and we hope that you enjoyed the experience of digging deep for a challenging theme.

Our next and final Print Exhibition of 2025 will be Free Choice in November. The opening night is scheduled for November 28, 2025.

And on top of all the usual voting that takes place, there will also be other exciting works to be voted on too, so do come along and see what is happening. See you there!
