Eight months after our first print exhibition of the year, we were finally able to hold another print exhibition which took place on the 25th September at the Museum Gallery.
With the help of mother nature providing us with a very calm and pleasant evening, we were able to hold the Monochrome Exhibition. A total of 39 individuals registered to come along to support the evening and who all respected the social distancing whilst having a drink in the courtyard, listening to some appropriate ambience music while waiting to be called to view the Gallery and cast their votes.
There were 32 prints exhibited from 19 members from which the following results were obtained:
- 1st Place (with 19 votes):
“The Mushroom” by Nigel Moore
- 2nd Place (with 7 votes each):
“Sunbeam on the Ocean” by Veit Mueller
“Ria Formosa” by Antonio Pires
- 3rd Place (with 6 votes each):
“In the Garden” by Ersnt Neidhardt
“Blue Lagoon” by Daryl Gabin
“Steps” by Jan Tromp
“Irrigation of my Plants” by Ernst Neidhardt
Congratulations to those mentioned above and well done to everyone that took part by providing such wonderful work. A massive thanks to everyone (you know who you are) for your organisational efforts to make the evening a success under complicated conditions that, from feedback already received, may actually have sparked a new method of doing things moving forward.
